Our Brand: Lighthouse 9, is a respectful nod to the nine “Great Lighthouse’s” that proudly protect the western coast of Ireland and for centuries, their burning light has guided seafarers safely home. They truly are…the light in the window.
Our Business is telling stories and producing beautifully crafted candles. Each Candle is handmade from start to finish using 100% Soy Wax flakes and we blend in only the finest fragrances. We invite you to light each candle and allow its natural scented aroma to soothe your senses as you read about each candle telling its own unique story collected from along the Wild Atlantic Way.

Our name – Lighthouse 9, is a respectful nod to the nine “Great Lighthouses” that stand proudly along Irelands Western shores. (Technically, there are only 8…Fanad Head, St. John’s Point, Blacksod, Clare Island, Loop Head, Valentia Island, Fastnet Rock and Gally Head but we decided to add in Ballycotton because it has a special place in our heart…)

Throughout the centuries, their bright lights have guided many a weary sailor home safely to their loved ones. They truly are, “the light in the window”. Over the many years of visiting these lighthouses, we began to consider the number of stories that exist around them and along our coastline, along the Wild Atlantic Way. From this thought, our story candles were born.
